HAUNTED HOUSE KIDS CLINIC AT LOWES

Have you been searching for free activities for your children and family? Lowe’s and Home Depot offer workshops once a month on the weekend to keep your kids busy and bring you into the store. What a win-win situation for everyone! You can shop for a new faucet while your kid participates in safe, fun activities. For the month of October, you can register your children for the Haunted House Kids Clinic at Lowes. Lowes will hold the clinic at 10 a.m. this October 11th. You must first register your child for the event. Each child registered will participate in fun, hands-on activities. They will also receive freebies to take home with them.

The Haunted House kids clinic at Lowes will get your child or children into the spirit of Halloween by letting them create their very own wooden haunted house to take home.

Keep an eye on the Lowe’s website, so you can register for upcoming workshops here as well.

Lowe’s isn’t the only one getting into the fun of workshops. Home Depot offers workshops for adults and children alike and for all experience levels. Check the website frequently so that you can register for upcoming free workshops. These courses will teach you how to be more ‘do-it-yourself’ around the home.

The next free workshop for adults at Home Depot is the Interior Paint and Drywall Repair class set for 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at your local Home Depot. You must register for the workshop to save your spot. On October 12th you can register for the Insulating Your Home workshop which will be held between 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. While attending this workshop, Home Depot will teach you how to properly insulate your home and how to choose the correct insulating materials for your home. The last workshop (held on October 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) for adults is the Fire Safety workshop. Attendees will learn how to correctly install a fire detector and the many ways to develop a family emergency plan in case of a fire.

Home Depot will also hold a workshop for the children regarding How to Build an EMS Truck on October 4th from 9 a.m. to noon. You may register for this workshop here. Your children will learn how to build an EMS truck in honor of Fire Safety month. The workshop is designed for children ages 5 through 12. The kids will get to keep their truck, receive a certificate of achievement, a Home Depot apron and a pin. Keep in mind that supplies for this one are limited, and registration is based on the supplies of the local store. Home Depot asks that you please register your children online before heading to the workshop.
