Well it happened….one of my very favorite store rewards programs is keeping up with all the other stores and downgrading their rewards program policy.
I posted many times before that my big moneysaver on printer ink was the $3 credit OfficeMax gives for every empty ink cartridge you bring back to the store with the Maxperks Recycling Program. I’ve saved so much on printer ink ( and I do print A LOT ! in the past couple years that I really started utilizing those savings.
And now they go and change it on us!
Long story short – they’ve reduced the Maxperks Recycling Program Rewards to just $2 per ink cartridge with a limit of $20 per month, per member.
I’m including the Full Details for you below, outlining all of the changes to the OfficeMax MaxPerks Rewards Recycling Program.
Not a huge change, but ya know what I say…every single dollar counts and that’s an extra $1 per cartridge that we’ve lost – BOOO !! 😀
The Fine Print:
Program Changes & Qualifying Cartridges:
-Now you can recycle visibly undamaged ink/toner cartridges of any brand by bringing them to any OfficeMax® retail store with your MaxPerks ID.
-You will earn $2 in rewards for each qualifying* ink/toner cartridge that you recycle.
-You can earn up to $20 in rewards per calendar month per member (from 10 ink/toner cartridges). While there is no limit to the number or brand of ink/toner cartridges you may recycle, you will only receive rewards for the limited quantity noted.
-Simply present your MaxPerks ID when submitting cartridges to ensure you receive credit.
-The total amount of recycling rewards issued cannot exceed your total qualified** purchase amount in your MaxPerks Account.
-Recycling rewards will be issued in the next statement cycle along with any other MaxPerks rewards you may have earned during the same period.
