Every time I take a photo, I can’t help but think that I am trying to capture a memory. A memory that I don’t ever want to forget…which is probably why I take so many pictures of my daughters, and every family gathering (no matter how small). Time will never stand still, and many years from now…that is all that will be left – memories and of course the photos that were taken to remember. But instead of just keeping those photos on your camera or stored on your computer, I have to share that I am so thankful for companies, like Blurb.
What is Blurb?
Blurb is a company and a community that believes passionately in the joy of books – reading them, making them, sharing them, and selling them.
Holding a finished book with your name on the cover is a truly amazing feeling; it’s one of those experiences everyone should have. As software people, designers, and publishing professionals at the top of our game, we realized something both incredible and obvious:
There’s no good reason why it should take tons of time, technical skills, big bucks, or friends in high places to publish a book. Or a zillion books, for that matter.
So we put our minds together, and developed a creative publishing service simple and smart enough to make anyone an author – every blogger, cook, photographer, parent, traveler, poet, pet owner, marketer, everyone. (This means you.)
For this review, I was able to create my own Blurb 8 x 10 book, with the option of up to 80 pages. Please view my book below. The software of the program is all online, where you can add pictures, text and more to each page. It was extremely easy to navigate, edit and personalize to make the book my own creation.
The only negative thing I could find about the actual site, is that there was no spell check and I could not figure out how to add more than one picture to each page (without making them really small). Other than that, I would highly recommend creating a photo book with Blurb – the end result looks expensive, professional and it is definitely well worth your time.
For those of you who enjoyed my review, and would like to create your own book from Blurb, you can get 20% off your order using the code: BLURB20

Disclosure: I received a free book from Blurb through the Share a Sale affiliate program, in order to conduct this review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
