If you are like me, you may not worry about spending money on trash bags for your waste baskets. In fact, all I use are leftover grocery bags…its fast, easy and convenient. But now, thanks to a company called designerliners, you can give your trash can a little bit of spunk!
What are Designerliners?
Designerliners are stylish biodegradable trash bags that can beautify any room in the home. The bags come in ten different color/pattern combinations; Pink Polka Dot, Orange Polka Dot, Navy Blue Polka Dot, Red Gingham, Gold Gingham, Black Leopard, Blue Leopard, Red Toile, Blue Toile, and Black Tattersol.
Designerliners are Biodegradable
Sure, you want to clean up your waste, but how about a waste basket liner that will help you clean up your world?
designerliners can make a huge difference… they’re as smart as they are beautiful.
Every designerliner is made from a revolutionary additive technology which makes it biodegradable while maintaining the other desired characteristics of plastic products.
Designerliners:
- are fully biodegradable in 9 months to 5 years
- are fully biodegradable wherever they are disposed of
(where other things are biodegrading- anaerobically and aerobically). - are recyclable
- can be made with recycled resins
- do not use heat, light or mechanical stress to break them down
- do not require special handling
- do not contain heavy metals
designerliners are a positive step to a cleaner planet. Sometimes it’s the little things that add up to a huge benefit.
Now you can smile at your very own trash!
Why “dress the mess”?
First of all it looks nice. And makes you feel nice too! Sometimes it’s the little things that can make you a little happier. Having pretty around me always does the trick. Finally you can smile at your very own trash!
These decorative, disposable, reusable, biodegradable liners, thus far made in the USA , are on sale. They are $6.00 per package of 12, and you can buy them here.
I was provided with a package of the Red Gingham liners (they look like an old fashioned picnic blanket pattern).
I like the idea of “dressing the mess” with designerliners…you can definitely give your office space, or bath room some color – instead of using the typical black/white trashbags. Something I do wish though…that they came in bigger sizes! I could only fit my designerliners in my office trash can or bathroom trash can, which are both relatively small…it would be nice to use them in the kitchen too 😀
I would highly recommend checking out designerliners, and purchasing some for yourself.
