My Thoughts
As many of you know, I am from the wonderful “Show Me” State, where anything and everything is advertised or campaigned in a visual way. In Visual Marketing you will learn more than 99 ways to promote your small business, increase sales, and what every person wants – “to get their name out there!”. There is nothing more effective than actually showing your readers/consumers what you have to offer; especially when you have something tangible or for us FFF fans do ~ get samples!
Every page of this book was incredibly unique, fun and offered a new idea for any person to use. I could definitely see this book being an amazing guideline for persons going into the “marketing/advertising” field. Through case studies, photos, and illustrations, Visual Marketing displays successful campaigns that won attention for small businesses in unique, compelling, and unexpected ways.
I personally learned how online games, cartoons, mobile apps, infographics and more can boost your business! In fact, I would really like to look into increasing our fan base by doing a mobile app someday 😀 When you get your logo out there, either on a banner, sticker, package or any other tangible item…you are persuading your reader/buyer to check out your company. I wouldn’t imagine it would be that difficult to create, and with help and guidance from Wendy & Melina – I know it would be a lot of fun 🙂
I would highly recommend this book to any small business owner, entrepreneurs, bloggers and surprising enough, politicians. This book will give you so many ideas that you can actually “see for yourself” how they work, why it worked, and even the success rate for each. The tips truly are priceless, and ones that you will use for the rest of your career. I was incredibly intrigued by every page, and will definitely be sharing it with all of my blogger friends!
