My Thoughts
I have to admit that when I first received this product, it took me awhile to try it. I am usually the first one to try out new products/foods in our family, but when I saw the words: “RAW”, “VEGAN” and “GLUTEN-FREE”, nothing sounded appealing. But…when I finally got brave enough to open the packages they sent me (the blonde & choco macaroons, as shown above), I could stop “snacking”.
Each macaroon tasted like a mini brownie, exploding with flavors! They smelled heavenly, and tasted even greater! And although many products that are gluten-free and/or vegan, claim to be “healthy”…these products really are! There is NO cholesterol and the coconut oil used to make the macaroons actually reduces the bad cholesterol in your body already!
Now, I am not ready to the take the BIG leap into being a Vegan, but if all “raw”, “vegan” and/or “gluten-free” (safe for diabetic patient) foods taste this great…I just might consider it to be my New Years resolution for 2012 😀
