The Products ~ Faux Tin Ceiling Tile and Syrofoam Ceiling Tile

Are you looking for a metal look but don’t want to spend a fortune?  Faux Tin Ceiling Tiles are used in homes, restaurants, hotels, movie theathers and they are also loved by Photographers who use them for Photography Backdrops.

Solid Aged Copper is 5 times more expensive than the Faux Tin.  The tiles are 2ft x2 ft and weigh about 7 oz. They are also class “A” fire rated and because they are made from virgin PVC they are recyclable. The design above can be found here and is priced at $9.99 for 5 units.

Most people prefer Faux Tin for its low costs, easy installation/cutting and non-metal echo effect. The tiles will NOT rust and are easy to cut with scissors if needed.

There are TWO different kinds of this type of tile that Decorative Ceiling Tiles carries:

1. Glue on ~ meaning that they can be glued to any flat surface, such us, drywall, plywood etc.
2. Drop in ~ as to be dropped into a grid system also known as suspended ceiling system.

Faux tin drop in ceiling tiles can be used on an existing grid system without the need to remove the existing tiles. They are a convenient option for anyone that wants to transform their ceiling without using adhesives to make this possible. In addition to this, they can be easily removed from the existing tiles if you decide to recapture the old look you once had. The Styrofoam Ceiling Tiles are only about 1 oz (plain white) to 4 oz (when painted), and measure tocclose to 1/4 of an inch thick (this includes the raised design).
