How many times have you asked yourself…”What are we going to do this weekend?”. Besides sleeping in, and getting some extra snuggle time with your family; Funkoos has designed a brand NEW way to find local activities and events for your family to participate in. Their all new Activity Finder is a fun way for parents to connect, and share local “happenings” for everyone to enjoy.
How does the Activity Finder work?
1. Simply enter your ZIP code.
2. Choose how many miles radius you would like to search (choose from: 25, 50 or 100 miles).
3. Select a category (choose from: indoor/outdoor, winter/spring/summer/fall, holidays, other, or all) and then if necessary choose a sub-category
4. Click on “GO” and find all kinds of activities, and family friendly events in your area.
For me, when I did a search…there were no activities listed! Which is why I decided to ADD some local activities I know that are coming up in my area.
Why should you add an activity?
Besides sharing your wisdom, you can also earn points which can be used towards a Funkoos gift card. I added 2 activities in the Kansas City area, and already earned 50 points! Once you have 200 points you can get a FREE gift card, simply by sharing activities, events and more with your fellow “neighbors”.
The more activities you submit, the more you earn!! What an amazing way to create an online community within your own community.

My Thoughts
Not only does Funkoos have a wonderful customer service and adorable organic clothing for your children; they now have an amazing point system which is completely FREE, and potentially could earn you FREE products for your family to enjoy.
Last summer I had the opportunity to try out one of their organic onesies (see my product review here) for my youngest daughter (see below). And she absolutely loved it! It was comfortable, loose fitting, and easy to clean!
For all you green moms (and dads), or for those of you “in-the-making” of making the switch to healthier, organic products, then this site is definitely one that you will want to learn more about.
I absolutely LOVE their new activity finder, and cannot wait to share this wonderful new feature on Funkoo’s website. It’s incredibly easy to find any activity (indoors, outdoors, by season/holiday, etc.), and so much fun to add your own! I love that by sharing my knowledge of events in the Kansas City area (where I live), I am also earning points towards a FREE gift card that I can use on Funkoo’s adorable clothing and products.
I could definitely use this feature when traveling too! All you have to know is the zip code to where you are going on an adventure, and find all kinds of kid friendly activities for your to enjoy with your family! I would highly recommend everyone visit this fun site!
