FREE FAMILY EVENTS THIS WEEKEND: JUNE 15 – 17

Good Afternoon!! We hope you are having a wonderful day, and if you aren’t sure what your plans are this Father’s Day weekend, then this post is for you! While you are out and about, be sure to take advantage of all these FREE family events this weekend at participating locations near you!

Friday, June 15th ~ Sunday, June 17th, 2012

• American Girls: Visit your local American Girls stores for a series of different events being held at different times, depending on the location. Choose from scavenger hunts, crafts and more! This weekend on Fri, June 15th and Sun, June 17th, come in and make Father’s Day extra-special by decorating a handmade card and matching envelope, then writing a special message to Dad on the inside. Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8 and up.
• Bass Pro Shops: Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday starting June 9 – July 15 between 1 – 5 pm, you can attend FREE family activities including catch and release fishing, shooting range/arcade, free family photo, s’more’s cookout (Saturday’s only b/t 6-7 pm) and more! Activities may vary depending on the location of your store.
• Michaels: There are several FREE events this weekend at Michaels, including Friday from 6-8 pm, where you can make a Duck Tape Wallet. Then on Saturday make a  T-shirt or Tie with the purchase of one from 10 am – Noon (for ages 3 and up) and Intense Demo from 1 pm – 2 pm (for adults only). And finally on Sunday there is a Cricut Expressions Demo (for adults only) from 3 pm – 4 pm.

• Walmart: FREE Sample Events all weekend long including! Click here to find the full list of events near you!

• A.C. Moore: Visit from 1 – 3 pm for a Martha Stewart Crafts Craft Clay & Punch Around the Page Demonstration.
• Ace Hardware: Get a FREE Quart of Clark + Kensington Paint on Saturday,  June 16th!
• Disney Store: Stop by your local Disney Store from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm and celebrate the upcoming movie Brave, which is coming to theaters next weekend.
• Guitar Center: Working with MIDI in Pro Tools 10 at 10 am – 11 am
• Home Depot: Adult workshops from 10 am – 11 am (Install a Ceiling Fan) and from 1 pm – 2:30 pm (Bath Safety).
• Lakeshore Learning Store: from 11 am – 3 pm, you can create a free Key Keeper. You can also get a $5 off $25 or more coupon to use in-stores, which expires 6/30/12.
• Pottery Barn Kids: Attend a deluxe crafting event, where you can make a stained glass picture frame for $10.
• Toys R Us: Create your own Batman or Superman shield with LEGO bricks from 2 pm – 4 pm and take it home!

• Home Depot: Adult workshops from 1 pm – 2:30 pm (Outdoor Pest Control)

• LaMars: Bring Dad in to get a FREE doughnut!
• McCalister’s Deli: Dad gets a FREE dessert when he dines in on Father’s Day!
• Medieval Times: If you are lucky enough to live close to one of these, you can get Dad in for FREE with the purchase of 1 adult ticket the weekend of June 15 – 17. Limit one free dad admission per full paid adult admission. Must mention or enter code DFWEB at time of purchase. Not valid for prior purchases or gift certificates. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Advanced reservations and payment required. Upgrade packages are additional.
• TCBY: Stop by TCBY (The Country’s Best Yogurt), where dads can grab a FREE cone or cup of their favorite flavor. This offer may vary by store, so be sure to contact your local TCBY to make sure they are participating.
• Wahoo’s: Bring Dad in to get a FREE meal with printable coupon on Sunday, June 17th.
