SNAPATOONIES EDUCATIONAL DVD REVIEW + GIVEAWAY

I am a very proud mommy of two incredibly bright daughters, who love to learn and yearn for more education on a daily basis. So when I was contacted by a duo of Australian “mums” to review their new educational DVD called Snapatoonies, I was more than thrilled.

I know we all do it every once in awhile…place our little ones in front of the “tube” so we can get the laundry/dishes/dinner done ~ which is why I urge you to find really good quality programs, like Snapatoonies. When you provide superb shows, like this DVD series created by Le Brighton and Jordi Brighton, your child will gain a massive start to their future career in school.

Babies (and your children) just got a whole lot smarter.

Each video will has your baby, toddler and/or preschooler learning everything and anything from bird species, eating fruit, counting from zero to ten and, of course, a good helping of the fundamentals – alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors.

On each episode, you can see the ever clever kids on the Snapatoonies train, as they discover new things with special guest hosts like Ernie Easel, Abbey Apple, Turtle and (my favorite) the Magical Color Caller!

Snapatoonies does everything you a great educational television show should. It talks to your children like they are important, real and capable of learning. It has very high expectations, just as you do as their parent. And it constantly encourages interaction from them, with an enormous amount of praise to follow.

Whether you have a young baby, toddler or a preschooler, then Snapatoonies is the right program for you. Currently they have four DVDs (as shown above, in both US and Canada versions), with many more in the works to come! Each DVD features 1 episode, where you child can learn about counting, fruit, colors, zoo animals and more.

I had the opportunity to review Magical Color Caller, which takes your children on a color expedition whom call out all the shapes and colors they see along the way. I have to say, my girls (who are ages 2 and 3.5 absolutely loved it!!). The film truly captivated them, and kept their attention – as well as those smiles on their faces. I really liked how the key words were displayed in color by speaking it several times, and displaying it in writing – which is perfect for my oldest who is wanting to learn how to read.
