As you may know by now, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and JCPenney would like to honor those survivors with a FREE haircut. Plus, for the first 50,000 haircuts that they perform, they will donate $1 each to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Pretty incredible!
For some breast cancer survivors, or those still fighting this horrible condition, styling your hair (or, what little hair you may have) can be very stressful. My step mother, who means the world to me, has been fighting breast cancer for more than a year, and I cannot wait to see her and give her a hug that she so rightfully deserves. She lives very far away, and we haven’t been able to visit in quite some time.
Last month, some of you may remember when I told you about JCPenney bringing back the FREE Kids Haircuts offer. This offer (which provides FREE haircuts for children ages K – 6 ) took place everyday during the month of August, and was recently announced that it would be a permanent offer starting every Sunday in November. To read more about this program, you can read my post here.
If you or someone you know has gone through the trials and triumphs of breast cancer, then be sure to take advantage and/or share this offer. To get a FREE haircut, simply call or stop by your local JCPenney salon to schedule an appointment during the month of October.
