From desks created for right handed people, to notebooks with the spiral down the left side, left handed individuals are living in a right handed persons world! Did you know that Thursday, August 13 is National Left Handers Day? It is also International Left Handers Day! Left Handers Day presents an opportunity for you to celebrate all the special lefties in your life! Or, if you are a lefty, it presents an opportunity to celebrate your uniqueness! The day was started to bring awareness to some of the challenges left handed individuals may encounter throughout their lives. There is growing awareness about some of the lefty struggles. Are you a righty who wants to know what it feels like to be a lefty? Try using your left hand to complete various daily routines (like stirring food with your left hand, using scissors with your left hand, and writing in a spiral notebook with your left hand). You might begin to notice that many products are created with right handed individuals in mind.

The Left handers club is one of the Left handed FREE clubs and it was founded back in 1990. There are many benefits to joining the Left handers club.
