There are so many things music can do…it unites, it brings pleasure and it brings honesty. As a music lover of all genres, I have to share that I was very excited when One2One Network sent me a copy of Mat Kearney’s new CD called Young Love.
Mat Kearney’s third album, Young Love, is a pastiche of honest, heartfelt and hypnotic stories that’ll make you move your feet and put a smile on your face. Mat gives a piece of himself on every tune, while building timeless tales for listeners to follow as they dance and sing along.
A Love Story
The album’s first single, “Hey Mama” describes the first meeting between Kearney and his new wife at the Anthropologie store in TN that she was working at. After courting her for a few months, he stole her heart, and now it’s all in the tune!
My thoughts
Mat Kearney’s CD not only brings a smile to my face every time I listen to it, but its something that I am not afraid of sharing with my family. My two young girls love to dance and sing along to this CD every time I play it 😀 My oldest, who is 2 years old, was dancing, clapping her hands, and picking her favorite phrases to sing aloud! It is such a joy to see the the simplest things bring her such happiness 🙂
This is definitely a CD that I would recommend for anyone and everyone to purchase! Each song has a great message and it truly does bring you such joy to listen to every track.
