If you have an ALDI store near you and you aren’t shopping there, you should! ALDI is one of my favorite stores for many reasons more than the prices. Yesterday I was even commenting on how great the prices were on staple items which gives your more flexibility in your budget to buy treats and other things.
If you don’t know much about ALDI stores, here’s the lowdown:
- The Carts: You have to shell out a quarter to use a buggy at ALDI but you will be so happy with the prices, you won’t care! You get the quarter back after you shop but as a rule I always give my buggy and my quarter to another shopper when I’m walking out. I know I should save that quarter and be frugal but I feel like it’s a good deed tied into my grocery shopping.
- The Bags: Bring your own bags or buy bags at checkout, they aren’t much at all, somewhere around 10 cents a bag.
- Check out: ALDI does not accept credit cards, only cash, debit and EBT.
- ALDI brands: All brands are backed by the ALDI double guarantee, which means ALDI will replace the product and refund your money.
Each week not only are low prices the norm but there are weekly deals! This week our local store has some great items you can save big bucks on!
- Luxury king and queen bed pillows for $6.99
- 14-cup deep fryer $19.99
- 5-quart buffet server with warming try $19.99
Along with these great deals there are plenty of specials on food items like chicken wings and pizza, all geared toward Superbowl Sunday!
