BASS PRO SHOPS CELEBRATES LABOR DAY WITH THIS FREE EVENT

This weekend only, Bass Pro Shops Celebrates Labor Day With this Free Event! The event has been dubbed the Hometown Festival. It includes contests, giveaways and activities for the whole family. The event will take place  this August 30th and 31st. You’ll find the store absolutely chock full of fun activities that the whole family will enjoy such as duck pond racing, a metal detector treasure hunt, and plenty of free food! You’ll also get the chance to win high value prizes just by hanging out at the store either this Saturday or Sunday. Some prizes include a YETI cooler, sunglasses, and gift cards.

I’ve included a run down of all the activities that are scheduled for the weekend below:

• Free Duck Pond: The duck pond racing is noon to 5 p.m. You will choose a duck and if they win the race you have the chance to win an LED lanyard, while supplies last.
• Free Metal Detector Treasure Hunt: The treasure hunt is from noon to 5 p.m.
• Free Casting Buckets: You will get to test your casting skills at Bass Pro Shops from noon to 5 p.m.
• Free Photo Download: This fun activity will make you look like you are in NASCAR’s Tony Stewart’s Bass Pro car. You’ll get to download the photo for free.
• Face Painting: noon to 5 p.m.
• Free Hotdogs and Food Samples: Bass Pro will provide free hotdogs for the family from 1 to 5 p.m. and from noon to 5 p.m. there will be plenty of food samples to try.
• Free Homemade Ice Cream Samples: From 4 to 5 p.m. there will be free homemade ice cream samples to cool you down.
• Free Drawstring Bag: There will be 100 of these bags available to the first 100 children that finish all the activities.
• Owl Craft: From noon to 5 p.m. children will have the chance to color an owl backpack clip.

• 2: 30 p.m. Backyard Chef: Picking the Right Grill
• 3:30 p.m. Going Dutch: Dutch Oven Cooking Made Easy

Hourly Drawings in Honor of Hometown Heroes

• 2 p.m. Bass Pro Shops $50 gift card giveaway
• 3 p.m. Maui Jim Sunglasses giveaway, a $250 value!
• 4 p.m. YETI cooler giveaway (this is an amazing win for someone!)

Unfortunately, this event won’t be held at the Branson, Bristol, Islamorada or Miami stores.
