My Thoughts
In this book, Max Lucado does a wonderful job of sending a powerful message to his readers. He shares several modern day stories throughout the book, and then gives them some type of biblical reference to compare. The book was very addicting, and to be honest I really could not put it down. It was entertaining, educational, and at times…even funny.
Normally bible stories can be seen as boring, but with Max Lucado, its different. His stories are memorable and help you relate to your own life in some way or another. I absolutely loved the chapter called “Of Oz and God”! Maybe its because I love the Wizard of Oz, or maybe its because what the author’s message was trying to portray ~ that God inside all of us.
