My Thoughts
My two year old daughter absolutely adores this book! The illustrations are very descriptive, colorful and bright. And the story itself is very cute, and tells the reader all about Hermie the caterpillar. Hermie thanks God for His blessings, for providing him a place to sleep, food to eat, and special friends. He asks God to help him to obey and be kind so that he can be his best for God.
The book itself is only 4 pages long, so it is very short…but it has a wonderful message, and I could definitely see it being a favorite for babies and toddlers alike. It would be perfect for a bedtime story, or to encourage the discussion of being thankful for what God has given you. I would recommend this book for ages baby and up, or for those expecting a new little bundle of joy 😀
