Celebrate Teachers and Nurses This Week For National Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week

This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week along with National Nurses Week! If you are a teacher or a nurse, I want to thank you for your dedication and contribution to our communities! My mother is a lifelong teacher and I know first hand the trials and successes for teachers and it’s nice to celebrate all of you! Luckily, for many teachers and nurses their respective schools and hospitals are celebrating them this week but so are loads of restaurants and other organizations.

One fun freebie this week is free admission to National Public Gardens tomorrow, May 9th. Check the website (https://www.nationalpublicgardensday.org/search-gardens) for a garden near you! There are over 500 National Public Gardens across the country, so there is sure to be one in your neck of the woods. National Public Gardens Day is an annual celebration of the nation’s public gardens to raise awareness of the important role botanical gardens play in promoting stewardship, conservation and education. What a nice way to celebrate teachers, nurses and moms tomorrow.

Barnes & Noble: At Barnes & Noble you can save 20% off the publisher’s list price on all purchases for classroom use, just joing the free B&N Educator Program.

Nurse Deals:

Buca di Beppo: I LOVE Buca di Beppo and this week the restaurant is offering nurses this coupon for a free lunch item when you buy one or $10 off two pastas/entrees. Valid through May 9th.

Cinnabon: Head over to the Cinnabon Facebook page and you can get a free Cinnabon by showing your ID.

Uno Chicago Grill: is offering 15% off to healthcare professionals through May 11th.

Dunkin Donuts: Nurses can get free coffee this week at Dunkin, at participating stores.
