This year the day after Christmas is expected to be huge for shoppers, according to Forbes.com. The report explains that retailers are really discounting heavily after Christmas; like Amazon and Old Navy. Also, expect retailers to start with online sales on Christmas Day and continue on the day after Christmas. Walmart has been advertising a massive after Christmas sale on items like a 32″ LED HDTV starting at $189, Apple iPod Touch for $289, HP Tablet for $99 and a Nextbook Tablet for $68.
The expectation is that after Christmas sales will begin on Christmas Eve and Black Friday and Cyber Monday-like sales will be plentiful at other major retailers like Best Buy, Target, Gap and Macy’s, according to a Dec. 24 I4U news report.
But some reports are saying the deep discounts on electronics and apparel won’t hit until the middle of January. Either way, this looks like a sign of our economic times which in turn is great for consumers. Happy Shopping!
