Boy, this crept up on me and I might have forgotten myself, so I thought I’d post a quick reminder. Tomorrow is the end of Daylight Savings Time. Make sure to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed tonight!
My kids never understand how we know whether we gain or lose an hour…I’ve explained the “Spring Forward” an hour in “Spring” and “Fall Back” an hour in “Fall”, but they still haven’t grasped it. It’s alright, I think I didn’t quite grasp it myself until adulthood either!
Time change is also a great way to stay on schedule with checking and replacing batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as air filters and anything else around the house that you find it hard to stay on schedule and remembering to check or replace.
Here’s to FALL, although I could do without the huge mass of leaves my shady yard accumulates with all of our old trees, I LOVE to see the leaves changing and being able to be outside in the cooler weather!
