With big bowl games right around the corner, football season is in full swing. But let’s be honest, it doesn’t really matter who’s playing as long as there’s a good party! Goode Company is offering the following 5 tips for throwing the best watch party ever:
- Film your own reaction video: You know the kind super fans watching their favorite team score the winning touchdown. These usually go viral (if they’re good enough!) so film yourself and your friends during overtime and see if you can become the next overnight YouTube sensation.
- Be superstitious: Sit in your favorite chair, wear your lucky underwear, and put your jersey on backwards. Now is not the time to stray from the time-honored traditions that “help” your team take it all the way.
- Get the “right” booze: Is your favorite team from Missouri? (Ours is!) Then only serve beer and other spirits from the Show Me State.
- Dress the part: This means you, and your party spot. Only decorate your living room with your team’s colors, and don’t let anyone in that isn’t wearing the right hues.
- Have props: Many fans like to hold a football while they’re watching the game, so make sure you have a couple lying around. It’s also a good segway into some flag football at half time!
Now that you know how to throw the best party, let Goode Company cater!
Follow the instructions posted on their Facebook page and engage with them by December 27th for the chance to WIN their ‘Pride of Sam Houston’ BBQ package (valued at $225), that will feed up to 20 of your closest friends just in time for the game on January 7th. And since they know you can’t have barbeque without beer, they’re also giving away a Goode Company branded Kegerator so you never have to worry about running out of your favorite frosty beverage during the game.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays!!
