If you love reading, Kindle and Amazon have a great new program that you might want to take advantage of soon. Kindle’s new service, Kindle Unlimited, is a new ebook subscription service from Amazon. You can sign up for a free 30 day trial of Kindle Unlimited by using your Amazon account.
If you don’t have an Amazon account, it’s very easy to register. Of course, Amazon is still one of my favorite online shopping destinations. The new service that launched in July will give you unlimited access to 600,000 titles and thousands of audio books for your Kindle. And just to try the service for a month is free right now! After your free month, you will pay a flat monthly fee of $9.99.
Users can read many of these titles on Kindle, Android and Apple devices. So, using this service is easy even if you don’t have your own Kindle device. With the free Kindle apps, you can read your books on any device that’s compatible.
According to the site, Kindle Unlimited gives you the freedom to try new genres or read the classics at anytime. Choose from titles like “The Hunger Games” series, “Harry Potter,” and to children’s series like “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.”
In addition to the book downloads there are 150,000 from Audible that Kindle Unlimited subscribers can enjoy for 3 months, free.
The Audible audiobooks are professionally narrated and with Whispersync for Voice, if you see “Kindle Unlimited with Narration,” you can switch easily between reading and listening to an audiobook without losing your place in the book, now that’s cool!
In addition to the 600,000 book titles there are about 500 public domain titles that are also are included in Kindle Unlimited and that entire collection is synched with free audiobook companions as another a benefit to Kindle Unlimited subscribers.
