Did you know that big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s offer free classes and workshops for children? Coming on March 8 your local Lowe’s is offering a free bird house workshop for children of all ages. Head over to the Lowe’s website and plug in your zip code to register for the birdhouse class.
The class will last an hour and your child will head home with a brand spanking new birdhouse. I can’t think of a more fun and FREE class to sign your little ones up for.
Home Depot offers workshops for children the first Saturday of each month. This Saturday, March 1, the class will build a Trojan horse bank from the film “Mr. Peabody & Sherman.” The workshop is for ages 5-12 and will be from 9 a.m. to noon. All children will get their craft, a certificate of achievement and an apron. Please register online because the class is first come, first serve.
