FREE FAMILY EVENTS THIS WEEKEND: JULY 6 – 8

Good Afternoon!! We hope you are having a wonderful day, and if you aren’t sure what your plans are this weekend, then this post is for you! While you are out and about, be sure to take advantage of all these FREE family events this weekend at participating locations near you!

Friday, July 6th ~ Sunday, July 8th, 2012

• American Girls: Visit your local American Girls stores for a series of different events being held at different times, depending on the location. Choose from scavenger hunts, crafts and more!
• Bass Pro Shops: Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday starting June 9 – July 15 between 1 – 5 pm, you can attend FREE family activities including catch and release fishing, shooting range/arcade, free carousel (every Tues, Thurs, Sat & Sun b/t 1-5 pm see pic below), free family photo, s’more’s cookout (Saturday’s only b/t 6-7 pm) and more! Activities may vary depending on the location of your store.

• Walmart: FREE Sample Events all weekend long including! Click here to find the full list of events near you!

• AC Moore: Visit your local store on Saturday between 1 pm – 3 pm, and create Duck Tape Crazy Birds at their Make & Take event.
• Disney Store: Learn How to Draw Spider Man (you will need to call your local store for times).
• Guitar Center: Intro. to Pro Tools 10 at 10 am – 11 am
• Home Depot: Adult workshops from 10 am – 11 am (Install a Ceiling Fan) and from 1 pm – 2:30 pm (Bath Safety). AND for the Kids…Build a Moving Truck workshop. The FREE kids’ workshops take place from 9 am – Noon. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement. Have fun, make friends and gain a sense of achievement and work ethic.
• Lakeshore Learning Store: from 11 am – 3 pm, you can create a free Sunny Day Visor. You can also get a $5 off $25 or more coupon to use in-stores, which expires 6/30/12.
• Michael’s: Visit your local store on Saturday for their Passport to Imagination North Pole event from 1 pm – 4 pm (for ages 3 and up).

Sunday,  July 8th

• Home Depot: Adult workshops from 1 pm – 2 pm (Closet and Storage Organization)
• Williams-Sonoma: Check out the DIY canning class.
