FREE FAMILY EVENTS THIS WEEKEND: JUNE 8 – 10

Happy Friday! We hope you having a wonderful day, and if you aren’t sure what your plans are this weekend, then this post is for you! While you are out and about, be sure to take advantage of all these FREE family events this weekend at participating locations near you!

Friday, June 8th ~ Sunday, June 10th, 2012

• American Girls: Visit your local American Girls stores for a series of different events being held at different times, depending on the location. Choose from scavenger hunts, crafts and more!
• Target: Click on this link to find FREE or reduced events in a city near you.
• Walmart: FREE Sample Events all weekend long including! Click here to find the full list of events near you!

• A.C. Moore: Visit from 1 – 3 pm for a Martha Stewart Crafts Craft Clay & Punch Around the Page Demonstration.
• Babies R Us: from 12 – 3 pm you can attend a free Breast to Bottle Feeding Event.
• Guitar Center: Working with Audio in Pro Tools 10 at 10 am – 11 am
• Home Depot: Adult workshops from 10 am – 11 am (Install a Ceiling Fan) and from 1 pm – 2:30 pm (Bath Safety).
• Lakeshore Learning Store: from 11 am – 3 pm, you can create a free Flip-Flop Notepad. You can also get a $5 off $25 or more coupon to use in-stores, which expires 6/30/12.
• Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: from 10 – 11 am, visit Lowe’s to build a free Monkey Powered Plane from Madagascar 3. The workshops are geared for children from about 1st-5th grade, and parents need to remain with their child. The first 50 kids to sign up get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. You should register for the workshop to ensure you will receive a kit.
• Michaels: On Sat, 6/9/12 , visitors can attend the Father’s Day Frame Make-It Take-It (with purchase of a frame) at 10 am.  Plus, there will be a Scrapbook/Shadow Box/Demo from 1 to 2 pm. Then on Sun, 6/10/12, visitors can attend between 1 and 2 pm for a free Father’s Day Keychain Make-It Take-It and from 3 to 4 pm for a Cricut Expression 2 Demo.
• National Parks: Visit your local national park on Saturday, June 9th for the FREE Get Outdoors Day.
• Pottery Barn Kids: visit at 10 am for a National Geographic Little Explorers World Oceans Day Celebration. Receive an explorer badge and a Dr Seuss Book while supplies last.

Sunday,  June 10th 

• Home Depot: Adult workshops from 1 pm – 2:30 pm (Outdoor Pest Control)
• Williams Sonoma: Learn about the Vitamix Blender at this Technique Class. Contact your local WS to see what time it will be offered.
