Wow! This is the last weekend of June…can you believe it? Check out all the great FREE activites going on this weekend – click on the links to view more info 🙂
There are several free kids activities this weekend:
- Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: on Saturday (6/25), from 10 – 11 am, visit Lowe’s to build a free Waving Flag. The workshops are geared for children from about 1st-5th grade, and parents need to remain with their child. The first 50 kids to sign up get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. You should register for the workshop to ensure you will receive a kit.
- Lakeshore Learning Store: on Saturday (6/25), from 11 am – 3 pm, visit Lakeshore Learning Center to create a free Let’s Go Fishing.
- Michaels: visit Michaels on Saturday (6/25) between 10 am and 2 pm for a Passport to Fun Egypt Hieroglyphics & Mummy Free Make-It Take-It.
- AC Moore: visit Saturday (6/25) between 1 and 3 pm. Buy Flip Flops and decorate them for FREE. Visit Sunday (6/26) between 1 and 3 pm for a Wilton Punch. Cut. Decorate! demonstation. Then visit Wednesday (6/29) between 3 and 6 pm for a Summer Fun Festival.
- Archiver’s: visit Archiver’s on Friday or Saturday nights from 5-11 pm for six undisturbed hours of scrap booking and socializing. Just pay a $5 reservation fee to save your spot. Then when you arrive, you’ll receive a $5 merchandise voucher to use that night.
- Disney Store: visit the Disney Store on Saturday (6/25) between 11 am and 1:30 pm for Secret Agent Escape. Must be at least 3 years old to participate. No lineups prior to 30 minutes before event. Call store if you have any questions.
- Lego Store: visit your local LEGO store beginning 6/27 and test out your throwing skills against Dementor. Come in and build your own Lego wand and chase out Dementor for ever.
- Toys R Us: visit Toys R Us on Saturday (6/25) from 12 pm to 3 pm to pledge to host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Receive a free Honest Kids Free Berry, Berry Good Lemonade sample for making your own Lemonade stand sign. For children ages 3 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Giveaways limited to one per child. Quantities limited.
- Bass Pro: visit Bass Pro on Saturday (6/4- 7/10) for Family Summer Camp 2011. Enjoy FREE crafts on Saturdays and Sundays between 2 pm and 5 pm. This Saturday, you can Paint a Wiggle Fish. Other activities include: workshops and activities on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 pm.
- Pottery Barn: Join this Summers Reading Challenge now through August 24. Keep your kids reading by either going to a PBK scheduled Story Time or read at home. Just download their reading list and when you complete it, visit your nearest PBK store to pick up your free book.
- Target: Check for FREE museum events in a city near you
- Walmart: there are several in-store events this weekend. Check your local store for hours and participation
