Happy Halloween, everyone! Are any of you throwing a Halloween party today? If you are throwing a party, you probably have most of your plans already set. However, there are still tons of frugal ideas out for the taking. These Last Minute Frugal Ideas from a Halloween Superstore will provide you with party opportunities that you can still take advantage of before it starts tonight.
One way to save a ton of money on Halloween decorations is to shop online at WholesalePartySupplies.com. This online store specializes in Halloween Party Supplies. These ideas will provide you with fun and spooky accessories that transform any area of your home or outdoors into a creepy, haunted house. The costumes on the site look great, and the costs are very affordable as well.

The site features all kinds of decorating ideas such as this great Mega Halloween Decorating Kit for the front door. It only costs $6.99 (compared to the regular price of $16.99)! The kit includes 30 paper printed cutouts and 3 large plastic sheet cutouts. I spotted another great find on the site: the Midnight Lace Mantel Scarf. It’s only $15.99 (versus the regular $24.99). This black and netted mantel decoration looks just like a spider web covered in little disgusting spiders. What’s even better are the orange LED lights that are scattered around the 18″ by 96″ piece of netting. This should brighten up any dark, spooky night.
If you want to go with some ideas for your Halloween that are a little more DIY, there are plenty of frugal homemade options to kick your party up a notch as well. In fact, I found two great ideas on Frugal-Living-Now.com.
- Witches Brew: Serve your root beer floats (scoops of vanilla ice cream floating in root beer) from a punch bowl. You can make it look like it is steaming by placing the punch bowl (just chill it first so it doesn’t break) in a non-glass container filled with dry ice and water. You can pick this up at any grocery store. It will look like mist is rising mysteriously from the “brew.”
- Flying Bats: Paint a tree branch black with black spray paint. Then, hang it from the ceiling, window or door frame. Next hang the cutout paper or plastic bats from a nylon thread to make them appear to be flying.
