You guys know how much we love Groupon here at Frugal Fabulous. Have you use the Nearby and Freebies tabs on the Groupon app yet? You should! Groupon updated app with new nearby and freebies tab and includes several new features, according to TechnologyTell.com.
You have a chance to save on activities or events you may have even considered trying. For example, I bought a dinner for 10 people for half price to a restaurant which gave us all a chance to enjoy a frugal birthday dinner.
Right now there are deals on whitewater rafting and scuba diving in some locations, how fun!
The improved Groupon app with the added Nearby and Freebies tabs, has an improved user experience in mailbox, new categories, and more, according to TechnologyTell.com. There are hundreds of deals and a daily dose of updates from a variety of local merchants and users can find the best travel, shopping and activities priced at their lowest rates.
The update also includes localized improvements for U.K. and U.S. users.
The new Groupon features are:
- Check out the new Nearby tab: discover and filter deals by category and location, with optional map display. (For UK only)
- New Freebies tab offers thousands of free-in-store coupons near you, as well as online coupons from more than 6,000 national retailers. (For US only)
- The new Categories feature on the Nearby tab to make it easier to filter great deals around you. (For US only)
