Annual turkey giveaways are common in various chain grocery stores.Typically, you must spend a certain amount of money on groceries in order to be eligible for your FREE turkeys for Thanksgiving.

SafeWay has a great FREE turkey giveaway! If you spend $100 on groceries at SafeWay, you can get a FREE Honeysuckle brand frozen turkey that weighs 16 lbs or less. If you spend $150 or more on groceries, you can get a FREE Tom brand turkey that is 16.01 lbs. or more.

Acme will allow you to choose a FREE turkey when you spend $100 or more. This FREE turkey offer is only valid through November 12! To claim your turkey, spend $100 or more and print your coupon for the FREE turkey. You can redeem the coupon stores. Acme allows your to choose from a Pride of the Farm frozen turkey breast (averaging of 4-7 lb.) or a Shady Brook Farms grade A basted frozen turkey (averaging 10-22 lb.)

Although it may vary from store to store, most ShopRite grocery stores will require you to spend a minimum of $400 on groceries from October 18-November 26  to qualify for a FREE turkey.
