If you are a lucky Kroger or Winn-Dixie shopper then you may know about the stores’ grocery Reward Programs. But if you don’t know about their member rewards programs, I will give you the low down on both stores’ programs in this post. Both, Winn Dixie and Kroger, both offer fuel rewards, as well (definitely a perk these days!)
Here are some of the basics:
The fuel program allows you to receive savings of up to $1 off per gallon on fuel purchases at Kroger and at participating Shell Stations. You may redeem 100 fuel points at participating Shell Stations for a 10¢ per gallon savings. And you may redeem up to 1,000 fuel points in a single fill-up at Kroger for up to 1,000 fuel points. For each increment of 100 fuel points redeemed at Kroger, 10¢ per gallon will be awarded. Program discount is good for one purchase of fuel, up to . Credit and debit card fraud prevention policies may limit transaction at the dispenser. Offer cannot be combined with any other discounts.
How do I earn fuel points?
There are three easy ways to earn fuel points in Kroger stores every day:
- Spending on Groceries (normal exclusions apply): $1 in Groceries = 1 fuel point.
- Double fuel points for Gift Card purchases (normal exclusions apply). For example, $25 in Gift Cards = 50 fuel points.
- Non-federally funded Prescriptions: 1 Prescription = 50 fuel points. a. As of August 1, 2012, federally funded Prescriptions earn 1 point for every $1 of your out-of-pocket costs for new, transferred and refilled Prescriptions.
Kroger also gives Rewards Members discounts on all sorts of groceries throughout the store with their store rewards card.
Every time a $50 spending threshold is crossed at participating Winn-Dixie’s using the reward card with magnetic stripe, a $.05 cent per gallon discount on gas is earned and deposited into your account. There is no limit to the discount per gallon so stack up and save even more.
To earn fuelperks! even faster, look for hundreds of bonus fuelperks! items throughout the store. Each bonus item earns additional fuelperks! ranging from $.05 to $.50 cents off per gallon!
fuelperks! earned expire one month after the month in which they are earned and are printed on your receipt.
fuelperks! can be redeemed immediately at any participating gas station, for up to 20 gallons of fuel.
I don’t know about you but these programs really make a difference when feeding your family. Every so often at Winn-Dixie you will get a printed coupon with your receipt for $5 off your next shopping trip, always a favorite for me!
