It’s Military Appreciation Week (military appreciation day is this Saturday!) and there are plenty of deals/coupons being offered to all of the brave men and women who have served our country. There are sites providing great offers strictly to military personnel such as Mymilitarysavings.com. Mymilitarysavings.com has coupons, deals, recipes, and contests. Some of the coupons running currently are coupons to save $5.00 when you spend $15 on Listerine products and 2 Rockstar Energy Drinks (16 oz) for $2.50, 5 Aquafina (1 L) for $5, and 4 Pepsi 12 packs for $12. Costco Wholesale Club is offering $50 in savings for all military who join and Lowe’s Home Improvement stores offer a 10% discount with military ID.
For the Military family on the go check out these deals specifically for you. ACE Rent-A-Car is supporting the troops and their families with a 15% discount for men and women in the Armed Forces. And if you need a hotel in your travels Best Western and Choice Hotels offer low discount rates based on U.S. Government per diem.
Looking for a place to take the family? The National Parks Service offers free admittance to all National Parks for Active Duty U.S. Military. And even larger parks are showing their appreciation. Disney World and Disneyland Resorts offer U.S. military members special discounts, and all Seaworld and Busch Gardens offer free admission and discounts to military on active duty.
For the troops back home who enjoy the outdoors several stores have them in mind. Bass Pro Shops Military Discount Days start the 15th of every month and last one week. This 10% discount is available to active and retired military personnel. Also check out Amazon for great outdoor items. Right now they have several Osprey Backpacks for 25% off, a 3-in-1 Tactical Survival Knife for 20% off, and 40% off Blackhawk Holsters.
