Happy Friday! We are not sure about you, but we like to prepare simple, inexpensive meals on Fridays. Today, we are bringing you a super easy recipe that your whole family will love. The pita pizza is quick to assemble. Plus, they are cheap and easy to customize so that everyone is happy. Give this custom pita pizza a try! Customized Pita Pizza Ingredients:
- Pita bread (one or two for each person, depending how hungry everyone is)
- A jar of pizza sauce
- 1 package of shredded mozzarella cheese (you can also use a cheese blend if you prefer)
- Toppings of your choice (olives, pineapple, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, ham, etc.)
- Seasonings of your choice (such as oregano, basil, etc).
- Olive oil
Pita Pizza Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, brush olive oil on both sides of each pita. Spread the pizza sauce over the pitas. Top the pitas with as much cheese as you want. Place your toppings over the cheese in any order that you want. If you want to add seasonings, be sure to do so before you put your pita pizza in the oven. After you have finished putting your ingredients on your pitas, put your pitas on a baking tray and place them in the oven. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the pizzas are a light golden brown.
Crockpot Mulled Cider Ingredients:

1 gallon of apple cider
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of allspice
- 3 teaspoons of cloves
- 4 sticks of cinnamon
- 2 dashes of nutmeg
- 1 orange cut in half
Mulled Cider Directions:
Pour the apple cider into the crock-pot and add the brown sugar. Put all the spices together in a coffee filter and tie the filter closed with twine. Then, put the orange in the crock-pot. Put a lid on the crock-pot and heat it on low for 3 hours. Enjoy!
