About Baggu
A small team of designers & entrepreneurs founded BAGGU in 2007 on the principle that good design should be functional, beautiful and affordable. Their goal is to make basic products that serve multiple uses, allowing you to own and consume less.
Baggu makes reusable shopping bags that are sturdy, strong and stylish. The standard Baggu is made out of 100% ripstop nylon and can hold up to 25 pounds, making them an ideal, cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to plastic bags. Best of all, Baggu bags are designed to be folded into a little, flat pouch so they can easily fit into your purse, pocket or other carrying case.
Baggu is available in regular, small and large sizes to conveniently meet your individual needs. They are washable, long-lasting and come in a variety of colors and styles. Baggu bags are highly reliable and will come in handy for multiple purposes.
The Product

- Each bag holds up to 25 pounds
- Eco-friendly alternative to a large plastic bag
- Made of 100% ripstop nylon
- Individual bags also available in small and large sizes
- Regular size bags also available in sets of 3 and 5
This colorful ultra-compact holds up to 25 pounds, and the flat pouch is easy to stow in your purse or bag – great for those unexpected shopping trips. Plus, the strap length is perfect for carrying by hand or over the shoulder.
My Thoughts
For this review I received TWO Baggu re-usable bags: a Baby Baggu (in magenta, priced at $5.95) and a regular Baggu (in navy/white striped, priced at $7.95).

You don’t always need a full-sized grocery bag when you just want to make a quick run to the drug store, brown-bag it or carry a change of shoes for your night out. Baby BAGGU is a colorful, reusable alternative to those flimsy plastic bags. Plus, this colorful bag folds into a tiny, flat pouch that’s easy to stow in your purse or bag.
What I love about these bags, is that they are perfect for all the times you’d normally use a plastic bag. Whether you are grocery shopping or making a trip to the mall, these bags are convenient, small enough to fit in your purse/car, and are essentially “saving the environment” one bag at time. Plus, unlike a regular plastic bag, these hold up to 25 pounds and will last through hundreds of uses per year.

I would highly recommend checking out Reuseit’s Baggu reusable bags! They are perfect for your lunch, shopping trip and weigh less than 2oz. I love using them at the park, or when we go to the grocery store. And my “baby” Baggu is wonderful for anyone who takes their lunch to work everyday – no more paper/plastic bags are needed! Or would even make a cute gift bag to someone 😀
And for those of you that are curious…these bags are made ethically in China. BAGGU Bags are manufactured in a modern factory outside of Shanghai. The factory adheres to a strict code of conduct that limits working hours and provides a fair wage. An independent company inspects the facility regularly to ensure compliance.
