As many of you have read over the past few months, I am always trying to find new ways to be a more GREEN mommy 😀 From recycling, to conserving, I would like to think that I am doing my small part to help our planet. One thing that I have been researching over the past three years, since becoming a mother is ~ cloth diapers. Did you know that disposable diapers can cost up to $2000 by the time you potty train your little one? And now that we have two babies instead of one, we are looking at almost $4000 that we have wasted on diapers alone!! Talk about NOT being frugal! Incredibum bamboo cloth diapers are a great and easy alternative to traditional pocket cloth diapers. The ease of the snap inserts to the adjustable sizing makes this diaper one you will keep reaching over and over for. Incredibum is a brand new bamboo cloth diaper that brings ease, affordability, and green-ness into your baby’s life. 😀
The bum pad insert is made up of bamboo (67%), cotton (23%), and polyester (10%). The shell is made up of polyester (100%), TPU waterproof coating and Microfiber fleece lining.
Cleaning instructions: Warm Machine Wash and line or tumble dry low. No fabric softener, no bleach, and please limit barrier creams that are not cloth diaper friendly.
My Review
I consider myself so incredibly lucky to have been able to try out Incredibum’s amazing cloth diapers, wet bag and cloth wipes. Their diapers truly are a “one size fits all” and can potentially last for many years (and babies to come)! My youngest who is 15 months old really didn’t mind trying them out, and really had no problem putting them to “good use”. 😛
At first, I was a little intimidated by all the snaps…but learned very quickly that they are there to meet the needs of your baby. The inserts worked great too, and are very easy to clean. They even come with instructions on how to do so (which were very simple and cost efficient). I only wish that we would have started how with cloth instead of disposable three years ago when our oldest was born!
Since our youngest will more than likely be potty training in a few months, I am still a little hesitant to invest money that we don’t have at the moment. But I do know that for our next baby (which will be a couple years down the road) will definitely be using cloth 😀 They save you money and really aren’t as bad as the critics make them out to be. My only complaint…is that I got blue instead of pink! But I don’t think our little girl seemed to mind!
