PRODUCT REVIEW + GIVEAWAY: LEARNING LINK TECHNOLOGIES

How many of you have a student that is struggling each day to keep up with their homework? Or maybe they are really NOT a good test taker? It is never fun to see your child having problems with school, and when tutoring doesn’t seem like an option, or maybe its not working – then you should definitely check out Learning Link Technologies.

About Learning Link Technologies
Learning Link Technologies
was founded by Lisa Harp, an educator, certified teacher, learning disability specialist, and educational therapist for over twenty years.

After observing how difficult school can be for students with learning problems, Lisa began independently researching learning disabilities and how to effectively treat them. She also received training in vision therapy and brain integration therapy.

Lisa has brought this knowledge and experience to Learning Link Technologies by creating a system that has been proven to help struggling students. This system is now available to families through both book format and video format so that all students have the chance to succeed academically.

Lisa also founded the Harp Learning Institute, which is a leading edge learning center in Northern California.

Why use Learning Link Technologies?
No matter what your child’s age it’s not to young to make sure your child is developing learning skills. As a matter of fact the very early years is when the building blocks for higher level learning are formed. Scientists have actually found that many learning problems that show up later on actually were caused early on. Simple things such as crawling are actually developing the brain for later skill development.

Lisa Harp has developed a very easy to do at-home system which enhances the building blocks of learning. The system is most often used by school age children but can actually be used (in part) as young as 3. The exercises are very simple and kids find them fun.

Although this system was designed to help those with learning problems we actually recommend it for all kids. Doing the program with a child who does not exhibit problems will only enhance learning ability and if there are weak spots they’ll show up and be fixed.

If the child is having problems in school then this program is essential. It will develop learning skills that no amount of tutoring can fix.

Did you know that if there is a learning problem that tutoring can actually make it worse sometimes? It happens all the time. That’s why this program is essential.

My Thoughts
As many of you know, I have a 2.5 year old daughter who always keeps me on my toes. Being extremely advanced for her age, I went ahead and tried out the online version of the Learning Link Technologies program with her for a few months.

The program is in 12 sections. Typically each section takes 4-6 weeks but it could go much faster or slower depending on how well your child does. You’ll know as the trouble spots are pretty obvious. When you hit them you just spend more time on that exercise  until it becomes easy. So that means the program will take somewhere between 12 and 18 months to complete.

At completion the student will most likely be excelling at school even if they were multiple grade levels behind at the start. Results are like this almost all the time. Children who were way behind in school and were told they’d never succeed becoming honor roll students.

To get the full benefit the exercises are done a total of 3 hours per week. One hour on the first day of the week and 30 minutes per day the following four days. Of course you can do it at whatever pace you like but that is the recommended amount. At that rate you should see progress in about three months.

I want to be honest and share that we did not devote as much time as we needed to the program. But the activites within the program which include daily activites, and how-to videos were very educational. For someone that has a child that may be struggling, or have a learning difference, or maybe a child that is having issues with dyscalculia – this program would be perfect for you!

As an early childhood educator, I completely understand a student’s point of view who may be struggling. And as a parent, you want to do your very best to make sure they are happy and have a successful education. Lisa Harp does a phenomenal job of helping you and your children with their learning problems. One example is brain retraining (done once a week for 4 weeks) you can help your child with emotional, physical and behavioral problems that they may have. My daughter really enjoyed doing some of these activities 😀

I would recommend this program for anyone with a child that may be having difficulties in any of the core subject areas ~ math, reading, writing, etc. If you think your child may have a dyscalculia problem or dyslexia problem, then you should definitely try out one of these FREE dowloadable tests: Dyscalculia Test and Dyslexia Test.
