I am not the most stylish mama around…but now thanks to my new kicks from Heelys, I am definitely one of the coolest! This month I was chosen to review my very own pair of Heelys shoes 😀 Please read my post below to learn all about it!
About Heelys
Heelys, founded in 2001, is a company all about innovation and is dedicated to creating products that inspire you to get out and have fun. They currently have three different types to choose from: the original Heelys shoe, HX2, and the Nano.
The original Heelys (shown above) is the only shoe with a stealth removable wheel in the heel that lets you walk, run or roll whenever you feel like it. The one pictured is called “The Wave” and is priced at $60.
The Nano (shown above) is a first-of-its-kind Inline Foot Board that works with Heelys to allow you to skate farther, faster and longer than ever before. The one shown above is the only one of its kind, and is priced at $85.

My Heelys Experience
First, I just want to say that the website itself is very user friendly and will give you every detail (from the colors you want to the how-to’s) to each of their consumers. For this particular review, I was sent my very own pair of Heely’s in the color/size of my choice. There are so many stylish shoes to choose from! I decided to order the original shoes in the “Wave” style (shown in colors gray/pink).
I was going to make a video of me using the shoes…but I don’t think you would be able to STOP laughing at how horrible I was at using them 😛 So…I decided to include several pictures of the shoes below. Maybe I will post a video in a couple more months, once I have had more time to practice!
Assembling/De-assembling (the wheels) was very easy, and if you aren’t sure how to do it – your shoes comes with instructions, wheels, heel plugs and an instrument to get it all done for you. I think what I really love about Heelys is that they can be worn by pretty much anyone, of any age! When my girls are little older, I know that they would love to have a pair to call their own! My husband even said he thought they were pretty cool!! Be sure to check out this great deal they have going on next week…
