PRODUCT REVIEW : THE COUPONIZER

Thinking back to when I first started to coupon – not for the thrill of snagging a good deal (although that is fun), or to compete against those men and women on TLC’s Extreme Couponing…NO! I started to coupon for the reason most people do, to save money for my family. As a family of four (six, if you include our dogs), and living on one income – we are not living everyday, we are surviving…trying to find ways to save money every week. Couponing is something that has not come easy – it takes time, organization skills and of course a lot of planning (if you want to do it right).

Consumers are swimming in coupons, overwhelmed with clutter instead of cash!  This is a common dilemma when it comes to coupons!  Beginners don’t know where to start when it comes to organizing coupons, so they just give up.  Many couponers have tried envelopes, binders, accordion files (see mine above) which are all good until you have to use them consistently week in and week out and over time and then the frustration outweighs the function making coupons a burden instead of a blessing.
I found this AMAZING new product to help us fellow couponers out – The Couponizer!

The Couponizer booklet – measures 8″ tall, 6″ wide, 1″ deep (before coupons), 18 pockets for grocery coupons, 6 pockets for other coupons such as Restaurants, Retail, Rewards, 2 shopping pockets (Coupons to be used this shopping trip & Checkout), 3 loyalty card card sleeves, metal spiral bind, elastic closure strap, durable plastic covers. The system also includes:

• 1 Shopping List pad – 20 tear off sheets/cardboard backing
• 1 CoupTracker pad – 15 tear off sheets/cardboard backing for record spending and savings by store

• 1 CoupStacker – pre-sorting mat used to organize coupons according to pocket when clipping (see before & after pics above) After you cut up your coupons, you sort this with this mat, then put them into book where they belong (super fast & super easy!).

• 1 Carrying Bag – clear zippered vinyl bag
• 1 pair of scissors
What I really like about my coupon organizer, is that it can be handheld (see below) and it truly saves me time & essentially MORE money!

The Couponizer is great for beginners, seasoned and the in-between couponer! You can start saving more money now, gain confidence and have more consistent “money saving trips” with your Couponizer! I have been able to save so much more now that I have a better way of sorting and saving all of my coupons.
There is also a place in the back where you can track how much money you are saving with each trip. You can save your receipts, and count on your Couponizer to keep track of it all!

Coupon Offer: If you sign up for Amy’s monthly newsletter, The Dotted Line (which features money saving tips, tools and recipes) from The Couponizer, you can get a 20% off coupon your very own Couponizer (priced at $19.99, you can get $4.00 off) in the Welcome Email that it sends to you!

I highly recommend buying a Couponizer for all you Frugal Fabulous Finds readers! It truly has made my couponing a dream come true! You can find more about The Couponizer by visiting their website, liking them on Facebook and/or Twitter.
