FRUGAL SHOPPERS USE REDLASER

As a frugal (and fabulous) finder, I am always trying to find ways to compare prices and find the best deal for my money. Whether I am shopping for school supplies for my soon-to-be preschooler, or the best sale on Lucky Charms saving even a few dollars can mean making or breaking our budget. That is why I am so relieved to have found RedLaser.

What is RedLaser?

RedLaser is a Free app available for download for iPhone, Android and Windows phones. Downloaded over 20 million times, RedLaser is a secret weapon for the smart shopper – allowing you to scan or search for items to make sure you have all the information you need, including product details, ratings and price comparison.

So, how does it work?

Simply download the FREE app for your smartphone, then start scanning/searching for products you need/want using the bar code scanner. What’s really cool, is that you can compare prices online and at local retailers, so you’ll know you’re getting the best deal.

Once you have scanned the item/product, you can find out which stores stock what you’re looking for by searching for a product locally. No need to drive around town searching for what you need! Which saves your sanity and your gas money!! Browse product reviews and ratings – and even buy directly from your phone using PayPal mobile express checkout, and go pick up your item in a nearby store.

Create shopping lists (or wish lists!) and easily share them with friends and family via email, SMS, Twitter and Facebook. And for those of you with food allergies, you can even scan a food item to get allergen and ingredient information as well.

I have to say that I have used RedLaser on several occasions, before going from store to store trying to find the best price on pullups (for my potty training toddler). And even finding the best deal on a new movie that my girls wanted last weekend. The app was so easy to use, and the best part is that its FREE!
