Today, we have a simple and easy-to-prepare recipe for Sandy Summer Pudding Cups! Kids love this treat and adults don’t mind making it because it is a cinch to put together. It combines several tasty ingredients that, when combined, make a delicious and adorable treat. You can make this treat even more fun for kids by allowing them to create their own beach scene with the teddy grahams, gum balls, and decorative drink umbrellas. These treats make a great addition to an outdoor party, pool party, beach bash, and more. You could include other fun ‘decorations’ such as pieces of Air Heads candy as a pool float or even as a surf board!
Sandy Summer Pudding Cups Ingredients:
- 1 package of vanilla sandwich cookies (such as Golden Oreos)
- 5 plain graham crackers
- 2 small boxes of vanilla instant pudding mix (as well as any ingredients needed to make the pudding)
- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 12 ounces of Cool Whip
- 12 plastic cups (the clear kind work best)
- 24 Teddy Graham bear shaped crackers
- 12 mini drink umbrellas
- 12 small gumballs (different colors look best in the cups)
Sandy Summer Pudding Cups Directions:
Blend your vanilla cookies and graham crackers into a fine powder in your food processor or blender. Next, prepare your vanilla instant pudding according to the directions on the box. Then, add in the softened cream cheese and the Cool Whip. Pour a thin layer of the powdered cookie/graham cracker blend into the bottom of each cup. Tap the cups to even out the powder layer. Next, add a thin layer of the vanilla pudding mix. Continuing alternating with the powder mix until you reach the top of the cup. The top layer should be powdered cookie/graham cracker. Chill the cups in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes. Then, remove the cups from the fridge and decorate the top layer with the teddy grahams, gum ball “beach balls”, umbrellas, etc. Then, dig in and enjoy your yummy treat!
