STACKING COUPONS AT BJ’S WHOLESALE CLUB

We’ve had many readers lately ask if it is worth it to utilize a warehouse club such as BJ’s Wholesale Club, Costco, Sam’s Club, etc., where you pay a yearly fee in order to purchase year long in bulk at lower prices.

Of the many wholesale club choices, I’d have to say that in my opinion, you will save more at one that has their own coupons, allows Coupon Stacking and has various other Couponer friendly policies.

BJ’s Wholesale Club is the only warehouse club to accept manufacturers’ coupons from newspapers and online, in addition to their own BJ’s-issued coupons (Stacking Coupons). Shoppers can combine both types of coupons, including scenarios such as when purchasing a shrink-wrapped multi-pack of “individual for sale” packaged items like a three-pack of toothpaste — a huge incentive to becoming a member.

Below are some coupon savings tips from BJ’s, also included in the video above to help you save more:

When purchasing a multi-pack of items at BJ’s, which is a set of items that could be sold individually (each item has a barcode) shrink-wrapped and sold together, shoppers can combine one BJ’s-issued coupon with manufacturers’ coupons. However, you cannot exceed the actual retail price in the total value of coupons. Examples of a multipack include a three-pack of toothpaste, two-pack of salad dressing or a three-pack of taco kits.

Members may also use one BJ’s coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon on a single item.

In terms of manufacturer’s coupons that are ‘buy one, get one free’ BJ’s will honor the coupon for items in stock as long as BJ’s price does not exceed the maximum value stated on the coupon. If the manufacturer’s coupon does not state the maximum value then BJ’s can not honor the coupon.

BJ’s offers coupons at the front of every club that is updated twice a month for Members to use.

BJ’s accepts manufacturers’ coupons from online too. In fact, BJ’s has their own coupons available on their website HERE.

BJ’s also mails out a quarterly publication called the BJ’s Journal to a majority of its Members, which contains coupons only redeemable at BJ’s (to stack with your manufacturer coupons!).
