How many times do we say “Somthing has Got to Change!” ? We find ourselves stressed out, too busy, not enough hours in the day. We groan and complain about it, but somehow we find ourself in the same situations over and over again and wonder why.
I hope you’ll enjoy listening and watching Joyce share about this! It speaks to my heart in a strong way!
My favorite quote from this one:
” He’s the author and the finisher, but He doesn’t have to finish what He doesn’t author! “
Wow, this one hits home! Are there things in your life that you need to shed? Some things that you really need to say “no” to? Saying “no” to some requests may be uncomfortable for a moment, but can help us to keep our sanity in the long run!
And are there things that we really do need to quit procrastinating about and get on with it? Is there a situation in your life that you tend to dwell on and sit on your pity pot about? I have a friend that is a single mom and really is having a rough time. The baby’s father has not helped financially in any way and is in and out of their life. The baby is over a year old now and she still doesn’t understand and is constantly going on about how he can watch her struggle, how she didn’t bring this baby into the world by herself, etc. etc. etc. Well, I love her and I completely and totally understand, I was there myself at one time in my life. But it is a hard place to be in as a friend, when you really want to say, “Get over it! This is how it is and how it is going to be! You can keep dwelling on it and stay where you are, or you can realize it and get on with your life” It sounds so harsh, but it is so true. What is the point in dwelling on something that is not going to change the way things are going. You just have to deal with it and then do whatever you need to do to get on with your life. Do what you can do to change it. And most of the time, the things we are dwelling on are things we cannot change.
Does something need to change OR do we need to change something?
Joyce tells it like it is, and here’s another video that will speak to you if you’ll take the time watch it! She has been instrumental in my life for the last 15 years, because she really does hit home on the daily issues of life!
I hope you enjoy:)
