There are three kinds of couponers – beginners (who are just learning the basics of couponing), novice (those who have been doing it for awhile and have somewhat of a system each week for saving) and experts (those who buy multiple papers each week, own a “stock pile”, and plan each shopping trip days or even weeks in advance). I would consider myself a novice couponer. I, (Melissa) have been couponing off and on for about a year now, and I still haven’t worked out all the “kinks” of it. It takes time, devotion, organization and above all planning to be able to save money with coupons.
Anyone can cut coupons and use them at their local grocery store, but if you want to save money for your family (which is the whole reason for couponing in the first place) – then you have to decide when, where and how you will do so. The biggest step for me was organization! Since May 2011, I have had the pleasure of organizing my coupons with The Couponizer. This miraculous product truly has saved my family hundreds of dollars, and hours of organizing/sorting my coupons too!
