Well, wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a website specifically designed for the pregnant mama in mind? Well now there is…Bump to Bump Maternity is all about meeting the needs of a pregnant (nursing or recently new) mama to be.
About Bump to Bump Maternity
Bump to Bump Maternity is an online maternity consignment and gift boutique. We offer a selection of gently used and new maternity/nursing clothing and accessories. Our new items include handmade nursing covers, monthly onesie stickers (see pic above for example), custom rhinestone maternity tees & onesies, baby journals and more. We also take recycling to a new level, converting wedding dresses into beautiful baptism gowns.
Bump to Bump was “conceived” in 2009. After being disappointed with the selection of maternity clothes in my local children’s consignment shops, I was determined to offer women a larger selection of gently used maternity clothing and the ability to shop from home (with those swollen ankles propped up). I also wanted to help the women out there who were cluttering up their closets because they didn’t know what to do with their maternity clothes. While we are passionate about recycling/ reusing, it’s also important to capture the memories of this special time, so we are happy to also offer new and gift items on our site.
I partnered with my mom, Helen, who is an interior decorator and 3rd generation seamstress, to offer something unique to Bump to Bump. (I was unlucky and did not get the 4th generation seamstress gene!) Her eye for great design and coordinating fabrics translate into gorgeous nursing covers and coordinating pouches you won’t find anywhere else. Converting wedding dresses into baptism gowns is a great creative outlet for her too. It’s amazing how much thought and creativity goes into each design. The result is always a personal work of art that your family will treasure for generations to come.

My Review
There is nothing more fun than being able to shop for yourself when you are pregnant, or even better to plan for all of those adorable outfits your little one will wear once they are here 😀 Bump to Bump Maternity is such a fun website, that not only is inviting but can be easily navigated for even the novice Internet users.
Specializing in maternity wear, the site provides an amazing search engine for any size! I love that each clothing item is put into its own category as well (ie: dresses, top, bottoms, swimwear, etc.). PLUS, they are always uploading new maternity products to their site, so if there is something in particular you are looking for and you can’t find it on the website that day ~ you can create a Shopper Login and then click on Favorite Searches under Your Cart. You will be notified when an item is uploaded to their site that matches your criteria (such as “Black Dress Size M”). Pretty cool!
One other thing that really stood out for me, is that they sell great products for moms or moms to be! Some of the products are from sponsored companies, and others are ones that create themselves. I wish I had that kind of talent! From monthly stickers (for when you are pregnant or for your baby from 0 to 1 year old), to belly casts, and even a “Eat, Sleep & Poop” journal (see pic above ~ too cute!). You can’t go wrong when visiting this site! Its fun, unique and well worth the visit!
