Since joining the Frugal Fabulous Finds team in April, I have learned so much about daily deal sites. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of different sites with incredible deals for the taking. From sites like Eversave and Groupon, I have been able to take advantage of several deals over the past few months…the only downside is that I cannot always keep track of when the deals I purchase expire, or where they came from. Wouldn’t it be amazing to find all of your daily deal vouchers in one place? Well now, thanks to a company called Couptivate you can!

About Couptivate
Couptivate was created by Sarah Schneider, who found herself struggling to keep track of the vouchers she had purchased. You can imagine how frustrating it would be to have your deals expire before you even got a chance to use them! This is why she decided to create Couptivate to organize and track deals, wherever deals may be purchased from.

Why use Couptivate?
With Couptivate you are able to create a virtual portfolio of every daily deal you purchase. You add your different daily deal site accounts and when you purchase from one of them, Couptivate automatically adds your purchases and organizes them. They also send you email reminders when your daily deals are near the expiration date!

How does Couptivate work?
Simply sign up for a FREE account and verify your email address. Once you are registered you can select all the daily deal accounts that you have (or that you want to keep track of). Most of the major daily deal sites are there: Groupon, Eversave and others. For the sites not yet part of Couptivate, you have the ability to manually add deals as well.

Once all of your deals are imported or manually added you have two view options: list and detail (see pics above). Then you can sort all of your deals by expiration date or category (eat & drink, pamper, fitness, play, misc. or label it with your own). The graphics really make it easy to view which of your deals are what, and the expiration date is very BIG so that you know when your deal needs to be used.
A couple features that I would like to see in the future, would be including how much credit you have at each of the daily deal sites and the option of adding more than one account. As you gain referrals, and share deals with family and friends, sometimes you earn credit – it would nice to compare how much “money” I have with each of my accounts (especially with the holidays coming up). Also, my husband and mother both have accounts with a handful of daily deal sites – it would be nice to add both of their accounts as well!
I hope as Couptivate grows that they will add more daily deal sites to their import list ~ since there are so many, that way you really can have all your vouchers in one spot (and it would save time on manually adding them yourself).
I would highly recommend checking out Couptivate, and signing up for a FREE account on their website today! You will definitely feel very organized and love that all of your great finds can be viewed in one place! Also, be sure to check out their Facebook page, and/or follow on Twitter as well 😀
